Tanıtım Yazısı
The Blue Voyage along Turkey's then little known and remote southwestern coast was a discovery of such pioneers as the poet Cevat Şakir Karaağaçlı, better known as the Fisherman of Halicarnassus, the Eyuboğlu brothers and Azra Erhat. From 1964 onwards their accounts of sailing by local fishing craft along this spectacularly beautiful stretch of coast attracted more and more adventurous holidaymakers, painters and writers. Demand snowballed and Mediterraean shores. Today the Blue Voyage is a holiday category in its own right in the tourism sector, boats are custom-built and arrangements provided by tourism agencies. The virgin coves have seen many changes as facilities are provided for Blue Voyagers. Restaurants have sprung up, boats have muliplied and the more famous spots are now crowded in summer, so it has become harder to leave civilisation behind completely and commune with nature in tranquil, uninhabited anchorages. Yet this tortuously indented coast is honeycombed with so many coves and inlets that the independent seafarer can still find peaceful and lovely spots away from it all.
