The Embryo Before Hell
Chapter I: Before Hell
In the depths of his eyes, Arin felt the dark well where everything began. Every moment, every breath, was like a vortex drifting through his mind. His eyes carried both the light of heaven and the fire of hell, the boundary between the two worlds becoming increasingly blurred. Arin was the essence of both; with one step, he felt the salvation of heaven and the pain of hell.
Arin's eyes were unclouded; everything became visible, but this clarity also symbolized a loss and existential uncertainty. For a moment, everything went dark, then suddenly, colors and sounds exploded. Arin was trapped somewhere between consciousness and the unconscious, both lost and reborn with every struggle. In this cycle, time and space lost their meaning.
One day, when he opened his eyes, he found himself not in a hospital room but on the edge of a hellish pit. This was the place called the Crossing of Souls—an interface, a gateway. A river flowed near one bank and towards the other. There was a pale, darkened sky. Everything was distorted, everything was incomplete. Heaven was here, too, but it too was like a reflection; it had no reality.
And he heard a voice, but he couldn't see its owner:
"This is your battlefield, Arin. Hell and heaven are both within you..."
Chapter II: The Pale Lights of Heaven
The heaven in Arin's mind, with all its imperfections, winked at him. It was a place where he searched for the innocence of childhood, but it was also a projection of his lostness and forgotten feelings. Every light, every shadow was here like a ghost. Old memories lost in dreams, in the lights… His mother's smile, the imaginary worlds she had drawn with her hands.
As he took another step, heaven suddenly took a frightening turn. Roses fell beneath Arin's feet, turning into thorns. Trees bent, hands reaching out instead of leaves. Yellowing clouds in the sky were shifting, the beauty and purity of everything corrupting. Arin's soul was here, but every part of him was disintegrating in this light.
"Life can become the deepest darkness of heaven," said a voice, a familiar voice. What is that? Arjen.
Chapter III: In the Depths of Hell
Soon, Arin fell from heaven and was drawn into the depths of hell. This was a place of the lost and the corrupted. As he walked in the darkness, the ground vanished beneath his feet. Demonic figures, their faces unconsciously lost, but their eyes and screams remained, circled around Arin.
Screams suddenly erupted in his head; the souls reminded him of his crimes. Below lay an abyss; that abyss was a symbol of imprisonment, of no escape. The souls became lost beings with each falling step, and the fire of hell burned in Arin's heart.
But there was something else: a mark. In his eyes, every face, every form of Arjen. He was a reflection of Arin's mind games. Was he a devil or a friend? Arin couldn't tell.
Chapter IV: Shadows of the Mind
Arin realized that he would ultimately be trapped in this dual world. With each transition, a part of him was lost, another was reborn. And every birth resulted in a new death. Hell and heaven were both in his mind; both worlds were intertwined, becoming a cycle of loss and rebirth.
His eyes were those of those who had once drowned and lost themselves. But now, beyond all that, there was an emptiness. An endless battle of darkness and endless light raged in his mind, and Arin was both hero and enemy in this war.
Every lost memory was a path. Every lost soul was a lost part of him. When Arin won this battle one day, he would either die or be reborn… but he would never be the same again.
Fear and Shadows
In this universe where inner conflicts reach their peak, where heaven and hell intertwine, Arin must make a choice. Will it be suicide, salvation, or transformation? Or perhaps everything is just another nightmare?
