Oh, self-proclaimed intellectuals,
How you love to hear yourself talk,
But when it comes to knowledge,
You’re just a parrot, unable to walk.
You think big words make you wise,
Yet your understanding is so shallow,
You’d rather hide behind jargon,
Than admit you don’t really know.
You have opinions on everything,
From politics to the latest trend,
But your arguments lack substance,
And your facts are hard to defend.
You love to quote famous authors,
To sound cultured and refined,
But you miss the depth of their meaning,
And their insights leave you blind.
You read just enough to be dangerous,
But not enough to be truly informed,
You spout your half-baked ideas,
But your ignorance leaves you scorned.
So, self-proclaimed intellectuals,
Before you open your mouth to speak,
Remember, knowledge is not a pose,
It’s something you have to seek.
