Nice mutlu mesut günler yaþadýk, Gece gündüz eþe dosta koþardýk Vatana millete canlar adardýk, Neredesin ey sevgilim nerede.
Þimdi kimse açmaz oldu kapýmýz, Yýkýldý çürüdü saðlam yapýmýz, Bozuldu sýhhatim çarpar kalbimiz, Neredesin ey sevgilim nerede.
Gezerdik tozardýk yaban ellerde, Aþkýmýz anlatýlýr dillerde, Gýbtayla bakarlar insanlar bize, Neredesin ey sevgilim nerede.
Vefasýz kalpsizsin yokmuþ insafýn, Çok nankörsün beni birden boþadýn, Kalmamýþ kalbinde zerre vicdanýn, Neredesin ey sevgilim nerede.
